Morton's Steakhouse Joins Forces with Make-A-Wish Foundation

Make-A-Wish Foundation is a program that I've always thought was very cool. It grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and lets them experience something that fills them with joy. The program is funded by donors and run by more than 25,000 volunteers.

During this summer, Morton's The Steakhouse is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the 30 Wishes for 30 Years program. Restaurant guests who visit July through September, patrons will be able to purchase the "$19.78 Million Dollar Make-A-Wish Prime Sirloin Burger". A portion of the proceeds goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Morton's commitment to raise $125,000 to grant the wishes of 30 kids. Visit the website at www.mortons.com/30wishes to learn all about the wishes from the Make-A-Wish kids.

On a local note here in Arizona, employees from both the Phoenix and Scottsdale Morton's put in some manual labor and helped remodel the local Make-A-Wish offices. What a great gift to these kids. And the burger looks pretty darned good, as well.
